The purpose of Muggn is simple - we find interesting mugshots and let our users interact with them on the site and share them with the world. We bring a good collection of interesting mugshots; you bring the creativity.

Muggn is meant to be entertaining and fun. We are not out to embarrass people who get arrested; we simply find humor in certain images taken at the time of arrest. We do not publish names or any personal information of the people who appear on the site and we honor requests to remove images. We only use images that are made available to the public by government agencies and are part of the public record. We obtain our images through channels made available to the general public following usage guidelines as set forth by the responsible agencies.

It should be noted that persons appearing in images on Muggn are not necessarily guilty of any crime. The mugshots are most often taken at time of arrest and well before court proceedings.

Muggn is owned and produced by Bet-R Sites, LLC, which is responsible for publication of the original images posted as entries here. The individual users who write and publish captions are responsible for the content of their captions as they appear on entry pages and on other parts of the site.
